The Qube

The Qube creates bespoke, extra space modular solutions. Utilising SIP panel construction, The Qube can design and manufacture bespoke units across a variety of sectors.

“Over the past couple of years I’ve wanted to implement an ‘all encompassing’ system into The Qube to help streamline processes from sales inquiry, through to project completion. We tried and tested many systems until we came across Next Project which proved to be the perfect fit for what we were looking to achieve.”

What was your reason for seeking out project management software?

As we began to scale, we quickly realised that we didn’t have any kind of system in place to help us manage suppliers, contracts, pricing, tasks, and most importantly; health and safety documents. We were hoping to find a system that would allow us to align our various departments and shareholders through one CRM system.

Which feature of Next Project do you feel has been the most helpful in your day-to-day?

That would have to be the integrated project support; how we can bring together the many parts of the business operations.

How did you find the on-boarding process?

The training from the team was excellent, and left us raring to get stuck into the platform. The guys flew over from Sweden to deliver a 2-day workshop to help us get up and running. We couldn’t be more thankful – there is only so much training you can do via Teams…

What’s the most interesting project that you’ve ever worked on?

We really enjoyed working for GoApe. The Qube were able to meet the design brief with its off-site manufacturing facility and SIP panel design that has great thermal properties. The materials used were all of high-quality and it fits nicely into the woodland setting. Delivery and installation of the building was quick and efficient. The Qube’s methods allowed us to install the building with minimal groundworks within a woodland, with very little waste, and with almost no ground disturbance which may not have been the case if we had to use more traditional construction methods.

Pity we weren’t allowed to go on the course after!
