To the contrary, the place was absolutely packed with solution providers, talks and visitors; so much so that it almost made the colossal building seem very cosy.<\/p>\n<p>From eco-friendly solutions to fire safety and urban development, this industry now attracts a very wide array of solutions. This makes sense, given how complicated construction has become, with an increasingly competitive environment, rising consumer demands and regulations designed to meet the challenges that lie ahead. the expo showcased the latest trends, technologies, and breakthroughs that are reshaping the industry.<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s delve into the key highlights of this groundbreaking event.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fire Safety<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The grace period for the new\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/next-tech.com\/en\/building-regs-2022\/\">2022 Building Regulations<\/a>\u00a0ended earlier this year, causing a spike in interest around how construction businesses can both ensure and prove that all the necessary precautions to improve fire safety. As most know, these new regulations were partially prompted by the Grenfell Tower disaster in 2017. It was very encouraging that the general conversation had moved from \u2018where do we start?\u2019 to \u2018how can we develop this further?\u2019 with a host of fire safety solutions and talks on best practice. This also tied in to the concept of creating\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/next-tech.com\/en\/golden-thread-construction\/\">The Golden Thread<\/a>\u00a0so that each business can store and retrieve any document pertinent to the construction, improvement and maintenance of each structure.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Need for Digital Tools &amp; Streamlining<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"lgc-column lgc-grid-parent lgc-grid-50 lgc-tablet-grid-50 lgc-mobile-grid-100 lgc-equal-heights lgc-first\">\n<div class=\"inside-grid-column\">There were several businesses at Build that expressed a need to not only update their technology stack, but streamline it. Discussions on resilient city planning and adaptable architecture underscored the importance of future-proofing our cities against the impacts of climate change and other unforeseen challenges.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"lgc-clear\"><\/div>\n<p><strong>Collaboration &amp; Networking<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>London Build Expo served as a hub for networking and collaboration, bringing together professionals from various disciplines within the construction and built environment sectors. Attendees had the chance to engage in meaningful conversations, exchange ideas, and explore potential partnerships. The collaborative spirit of the expo reflected the industry\u2019s recognition of the interconnected nature of modern construction projects and the value of a united approach to addressing shared challenges.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A Missed Opportunity<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Charlie Chaplin, Neon Lady and the two Groots did not get into any kind of altercation, which we at Next would have personally have found to be most entertaining.
